Hi and welcome to Joyful Loving Life!
I’m Amy, and I am so happy you have found your way here!

I am a mom with neurodiversity and two nearly grown kids who were diagnosed in preschool and elementary school with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder.
I served on the board of my local autism support group from 2008-2018, have been teaching yoga and mindfulness to people of all abilities and identities ages 2-90+ since 2016, and work full-time with youth and adults with various mental health diagnoses and special needs by teaching life skills for independent living. I understand—as an individual, parent, and service provider—how challenging it can be to navigate through the confusing information out there, while trying to create the best possible life for ourselves and the people we love. I learned the hard way how important self-care and having the right support are to prevent illness and burnout. I created Joyful Loving Life to share the life transforming benefits of yoga, holistic health, and thriving relationships coaching with our community. As we all know, life is not one size fits all, so I take a personalized approach to really get to know you, your unique needs, the goals you want to achieve, and I provide you with the tools and support you need to succeed!
I am an endurance runner and triathlete, have two degrees in Anthropology, am certified to teach multiple styles of yoga, have certifications as a Thriving Relationship Coach and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and I enjoy nothing more than to empower people–like you–in overcoming the challenges they are experiencing to live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives!
I view my own personal life transformation as an ongoing, lifelong, and growth-minded one. The journey to be where I am today has been one of learning how to overcome my own challenges, including recovery from illnesses and injuries, managing anxiety and depression, supporting self and family and community members with neurodiversity and mental health diagnoses, reclaiming and rebuilding my life following an abusive marriage of over two decades, healing from past traumas and co-dependency, and how to best support and nurture myself through aging-related changes as a woman, mom, partner, and avid athlete.
