
Teaching yoga, meditation, and mindful breathing is one of the greatest sources of joy in my life, and I absolutely love to share my passion for these practices with my students, family, and friends. I first started practicing with a meditation group in 2011 and took my first yoga class in 2013, when an injury sidelined me from running for many months. With regular practice, I quickly noticed improvements to my core strength, balance, flexibility, and mental health. I completed my 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certification through Sid Yoga in Towson, Maryland and started teaching vinyasa and hot power yoga in August 2016. I have since been continuing to expand my yoga teaching certifications to include other styles of yoga (see below) and maintain status as a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance.

- In addition, I have experience teaching hatha yoga; yoga for expectant moms, kids for ages 2-12, teens, adults of all ages and abilities into their 90s, and individuals with special needs; and yoga, self-care, and wellness for non-profit organizations and private corporations.
My yoga studio is located at Fleet Feet York (1511 Mount Rose Ave.) in York, Pennsylvania, where I offer in-person and virtual 30 to 90 minute classes in yoga, meditation, and mindful breathing. I also offer customized classes and workshops of various lengths with any combination of yoga, meditation, mindful breathing, and holistic/integrative nutrition health or relationship coaching. Classes are $15/person (except where noted), with discounted rates for multi-class packs and monthly memberships. Bring your own mat and supportive props, if you have them, or you can also use the studio mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, blankets, and chairs.

Last Fridays: May 29/June 26/July 31/August 28 @ 6:30-8:00pm—Couples Yoga Date Night!!! This class is designed as a fun date night consisting of one hour of all-abilities partner-inspired yoga, followed by 30 minutes of gentle partner massage for face/shoulders/hands/feet and useful relationship tips for keeping your relationship healthy and thriving. Space is limited, so please contact me at amy@joyfullovinglife.com to reserve your spot! Cost is $45/couple.
Summer Wellness Workshop: Saturday, June 20 @ 9:00am-12:00pm— Come experience the myriad life transforming benefits of yoga, reiki, sound meditation, mindful breathing, massage, aromatherapy, medicinal herbal teas and remedies, and samplings of the services of other local holistic health practitioners during this fun, relaxing, informative, and inspiring seasonal workshop. Tea, coffee, and healthy breakfast options will be provided, so please let me know if you have any food allergies or sensitivities.
