Privacy Policy

Joyful Loving Life LLC ("we," "us") operates joyfullovinglife.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. The short version: we collect only what we need to run classes and coaching, we never sell your information, and you can ask us at any time to see or delete what we have.

Information we collect

Booking & account information. When you reserve a class or buy a class pass we collect your name, email address, and your class selections, so we can hold your spot, apply your pass credits, and send you confirmations and reminders.

Waiver information. Before your first class we ask you to sign a liability waiver, which includes an emergency contact and any health notes you choose to share. Health notes are used only so your instructor can keep you safe in class, and are never used for marketing or shared with anyone else.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor; your card number never touches our servers. If you pay by Venmo, Zelle, or at the studio, those transactions happen outside our website.

Email updates. If you opt in to our email list we store your email address and the topics you're interested in. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — ever. We do not use third-party analytics cookies, and we count page visits anonymously, with no personal profiles.

Advertising & how you found us

If you arrive at our site from one of our ads or announcements, we set a single first-party cookie that remembers which ad or link brought you here, for up to 30 days. It identifies the ad — not you — and we use it only to learn which of our announcements people find helpful. When we advertise on Facebook or Instagram, our site also uses Meta's pixel to report ad results (for example, that someone who saw an ad booked a class) back to Meta. You can limit how Meta uses this information in your Facebook settings under Ad preferences. We never give Meta your name, email, or booking details.

Service providers we rely on

A small number of trusted services help us operate, and each receives only what it needs: Stripe (card payments), Brevo (sending our emails), and Zoom (online classes — if you book an online class, the join link is created through Zoom). These providers process your information under their own privacy safeguards and only on our instructions.

How long we keep information

We keep booking records, waivers, and pass balances for as long as you're a student with us, and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. If you unsubscribe from emails, we stop emailing you but keep the unsubscribe record so we don't accidentally email you again.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to records we must keep by law). Just email amy@joyfullovinglife.com and we'll take care of it promptly. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

Children

Our classes and website are intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for any student under 18, and we collect a minor's information only through that parent or guardian.

Security

Our site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to student information is limited to studio staff who need it.
